Have a soundbite of this cake
I've been pretty much missing the Convention. I'm using the communal computer in the living room with the Spawn and they have the remote. I'm watching all sorts of new and exciting things, but I'm definitely not watching the Convention.
Except I did watch the Hillary Clinton speech. And I thought it was good. And thanks to Hillary, we might have a simple and effective soundbite that the press is capable of repeating.
No way. No how. No McCain.
Now will I watch Bill Clinton's speech tomorrow night? The people who know him say he's going to try to outdo Hillary because he's competitive like that. I guess I better hide the remote.

Bill can rip some serious ass off McCain if his heart is in it. Let's just hope he gets the job done.
I liked the part in Hillary's speech about bush and McCain and the twin cities. Good one!
If we attack McCain, then people we see the Dems as bitter and out-of-touch. We much embrace bipartisanship.
Bill ought to use his speech to rehabilitate his image in the same way his wife did with her speech last night.
I have been watching. I loved Sen Clinton's speech. I think she answered any questions that there may have been about her loyalty.
It was more fun to see some of the news heads (Buchanan for one) try to find something negative to say about it. I thought Rachel Maddow was going to come unglued over some of his comments. Then, of course we have the "bags" over at Fox spouting their crap.
I feel much better about things today than I did yesterday.
As for attacking McCain, I kind of agree. However, they have got to be able to defend against the attacks that are sure to come.
I thought Hillary hit it out of the park last night. It was perfect, and perfectly necessary, when she asked her supporters if they were in it just for her, or for the causes and issues she supports.
I want a piece of that cake. Yum.
I too have not been watching the convention coverage. It's on ABC which I can't get with just my rabbit ears. But CBS carried Hillary's speech live and hubby came home to tell me so we turned the television on. I loved it! She was great. I've been feeling very uninspired about politics but she is inspiring.

I didn't get here 'till after Bill's Turn, and let me tell ya, that was almost as good as getting a blowjob from a chunky little intern!
And Hillary was good too, saying all the necessary things and unveiling a few gems to boot.
...but I still wouldn't - her voice is Sonic Saltpeter to my ears.
Just sayin'.
As you might expect, I've been watching the whole thing ... Hillary was excellent! Her speech made Biden's last night look a bit anemic.
